Bio

For 15 years, Bill Stainton (CV '75) produced the longest-running, highest-rated, and most award-winning regional comedy TV show in the United States, winning 29 Emmy® Awards along the way. Several notable names got their start on Bill's show, including Joel McHale (star of "Community" and "Animal Control") and Bill Nye the Science Guy. Bill (Stainton) is also a Hall of Fame keynote speaker on the topics of innovation, creativity, and thinking differently. But perhaps his finest moment came when he played the lead role of Romeo in Conestoga Valley's 1975 production of "Romeo and Juliet," opposite the amazing Janell Conrad.
